Wildfox Swim debuted its Cruise 2015 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami on Friday, July 18, 2014 to a jam packed crowd of leading editors, international buyers and celebrity fans including Graceland’s Serinda Swan, Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis, Brandi Cyrus, celebrity DJ Caroline D’Amore, Bobby Alt, and superstar bloggers Oliva Lopez, Natasha Oakley, Devin Brugman, Dylana Suarez and Natalie Suarez.Inspired by late 80s and early 90s fashion, Barbie, vintage Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, and supermodels of the era, the show featured a palette of pastel, ombre and neon hues mixed in with hamburger prints, swimmable gingham fabric and sporty zipper details on neoprene sets and high leg one piece suits. Also on the runway were lightweight rib cover-ups with color-changing inks and scratch-and-sniff smells, pastel terry cloth sets, and woven beach pants, dresses, rompers, and flowing maxi dresses. The lively crowd enjoyed a soundtrack of nineties RnB and pop hits while models played up the fun theme with double turns.
