ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO AS NEW AMBASSADOR FOR ITS MISSION TO EMPOWER WOMEN
British social enterprise and artisanal luxury brand BOTTLETOP is thrilled to announce Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio as its new brand Ambassador; working together in support of economically disadvantaged women and Indigenous communities through the creation of the BOTTLETOP collection at its atelier programs in Salvador, Brazil; Kathmandu, Nepal and the Amazon rainforest.
The partnership with Alessandra launches for AW22 with a jointly curated campaign entitled ‘representation, regeneration and new narratives’ photographed by Edgar Berg in Paris at the Ambassador's Residence of the British Embassy.
Representing the BOTTLETOP ateliers in Salvador, Bahia and the Amazon Rainforest, the campaign also features Zaya, an Amazonian model and activist alongside the Salvador born model Suzane Massena. Sustainability advocate and #TOGETHERBAND Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production Ambassador Marina Testino, who worked with BOTTLETOP Co-Founder and Creative Director Cameron Saul to curate the sustainable brands who contributed clothing for the campaign, also joined the shoot.
The campaign features new styles including the Analuisa bucket bag and Bellani Mini created at its atelier in Salvador with recycled metal, prepared and anodised, where BOTTLETOP has created its signature bag line supporting local women since 2005. AW22 sees the introduction of sumptuous copper tones blending anodised recycled metal with zero deforestation and cactus leather.
